Meet the Team
Liam
Liam comes from a hands-on background in electrical work, currently training as a contractor and holding an ECS card. With experience in everything from PAT testing to full house re-wires, he brings a practical, can-do approach to every job. At JL Installs, Liam leads on-site installations—especially anything involving power—and is our go-to guy for getting things fitted, fixed, and finished to a high standard.
Josh
With a background in IT and a day job as a technician for a managed service provider, Josh brings technical know-how and real-world experience to every project. He’s been doing independent AV and data installs for over 5 years and is now graduating as a Level 4 Network Engineer. At JL Installs, he handles network and system design, scheduling, and often lends a hand on-site to make sure everything runs smoothly.
JL Installs is a small partnership run by two independent sole traders who have teamed up to combine their skills, tools, and experience. While we work closely together under the JL Installs name, we’re not a registered LLP or limited company.
Each of us is registered as a sole trader and takes responsibility for our own work and insurance. This setup helps us keep things flexible, affordable, and personal—just how we like it.
